After a series of contacts in the previous years, Cesare Baj, team manager of the Seaplane Team, made two journeys to China in 2017 and 2018.
The aim is to provide the consultancy for the setting up of an important seaplane operation in China.
Cesare Baj was appointed as an official consultant by a representative of a local Government and started the relations with a team of investors.
The intent is to start a commercial activity with seaplanes and a flight school for seaplane pilots. In this latter activity Baj can bring to China the experience of the oldest seaplane flight school in the world, that of Aero Club Como, Como, Italy.
During the journeys, Baj had the opportunity of meeting the importers into China of different type of aircraft, various architects specialized in the design of aviation infrastructures and general aviation operators.
The project is going on, at the moment waiting for a series of authorizations.
