An early attempt to set up a seaplane operation in Italy was made in the late ‘80s by a group of Aero Club Como members, managed by members of the Seaplane Team Cesare Baj, Franco Panzeri and Giorgio Porta.
The company got the Operator Certificate, but delays in promulgating the needed and promised regulations on the use of water surfaces prevented the company from developing the “sea” part of the operation.
